Roach Motel Zine Club: Valenzines
Grab a tea from Little Woods and head up to my studio to make your own valenzine! Get inspired by the Roach Motel Zine Distro & Reading Library, then dive into an afternoon of cutting, pasting, and professing your love. Bring your floral, frilly, red, and pink scraps—and come solo or with friends!
Bring any collage materials you’d like to use, like a photo of yourself or someone you love (a friend, partner, or pet all count!).
Basic supplies will be provided: paper, tape, glue sticks, scissors, watercolors, markers, crayons, pencils, pens, and Sharpies.
All ages welcome.
A suggested donation of $0-10+ per person helps cover supplies and supports adding new zines to the distro.
Reserve your spot here — I’ll send you a reminder the day before the event.

Lakeside Lab Open Studio
Come explore the Bodine Historic Stone Lab at Iowa Lakeside Lab where I’m the current artist in resident.
Since July 1st I’ve taken over the Bodine historic lab at the Iowa Lakeside Lab. About half my time has been exploring the grounds and community, the other half has been in the studio and library researching and trying just about anything that comes to mind.
Rich in inspiration, I’ll be carrying forward into the studio I’ll I’ve discovered here about nature, science, and myself.
