January: Knitting + Mending = Winter Sweater Love

This month we are starting a new series of mending skill building. I’ll show everyone how to knit, then demonstrate how to do a knitted mend on one of my favorite sweaters. Pointy sticks & yarn provided. Demo will start promptly at 6pm.

Join me for the ongoing monthly mending social at the Octagon Center for the arts. Bring your project and a favorite beverage to enjoy. Need help or not sure where to start? Assistance available for a suggested donation of $5. No mending this month? Bring any portable project of your choice — loosely fiber themed but we’ve also been known to draw and fold zines.

Hosted in the 3rd floor reading room.
